This moment
the youngest
I will ever be.
Yet it passes,
unnoticed.
Like all the others
precious seconds have.
It is not until
we look back
and realise,
our life was nothing,
but these very moments
stored and collated
into a life
that
we forgot,
to live.
An inevitable tragedy,
we only experience
when it is too late.
We waste our time
chasing
happiness
power
wealth.
Somehow.
we forgot
Between the everyday
struggle
for food,
shelter
and the offices and lattes,
the bliss,
of the moment.
Where future and past
disappear.
When there is only,
us.
